For the past couple of years, Delia School has been proud to offer a hockey program to interested students. This year, thanks the work of Amber Marshall, we received a grant to help cover ice rental costs, etc. With help from the Hockey Alberta Foundation and Hockey Alberta Every Kid Every Community (EKEC) program, Regardless of skill level, hockey experience or financial capabilities we were able to get 12 students from grades 7-11 on the ice for a two-week credited hockey option. A special thank you to Jeff Stel who ran the on-ice portion of the program, we certainly couldn’t have done it without you!!
